Dr. Missy Tasky
Dr. Missy Tasky is a native of Virginia, and graduated from
Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Animal Science in 1986. She then went
on to Auburn University and graduated with a Degree in Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. She relocated to Denver after graduation, and
spent the first four years of her career as an emergency room
doctor. The next five years were spent managing a small animal
clinic. She established Gentle Touch Animal Hospital in October of
2000, and has been busy expanding the practice ever since. Her
areas of interest include dentistry, ophthalmology, and
management. She is a member of several veterinary societies,
including the American Veterinary Dental Society. She has also
served on the Board of the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society.
When she is not busy with veterinary medicine, she enjoys skiing,
wine tasting, traveling, and spending time with her dog and cat,
and family and friends.
Dr. Larry Montz
Dr. Larry Montz is a native of New Orleans, and received his B.S
in Animal Science in 1998 and his Degree in Veterinary Medicine in
2003 from Louisiana State University. Upon graduation, he
practiced veterinary medicine for two years in Florida before
relocating to Denver in 2005. He joined the staff of Gentle Touch
in February of 2006. His areas of interest include endocrinology
and renal disease. He and his wife Brooke have a son, Kaden, and
are expecting their second child in December of 2009. His other
children include his two labs Rex and Nola, his pug mix Lucy, and
his three cats Oscar, Mickey, and Khaki. When he is not busy with
veterinary medicine, he enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar,
reading and LSU football.
Michelle Gibson
Michelle, a Colorado
native, joined Gentle Touch Animal Hospital in June of 2006, and
is currently the Administrative Assistant for the practice. She
brings 17 years of customer service experience to the team, and
enjoys being able to help our clients and patients. When away from
the clinic, she takes care of her dog Synda and three cats Isis,
Osiris and Houdini. She and her husband Jim are passionate about
car racing and actually do a little drag racing themselves.
Stephanie Adamson Stephanie joined Gentle Touch Animal Hospital as the
Office Manager in June of 2009. Prior to joining Gentle Touch, she
was a stay at home mom for 11 years. She graduated from Marymount
University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration, and has many years experience working in Business
Management. Stephanie spends her “free” time taking care of her
two kids, husband, two dogs and one cat. When not fulfilling her
Mommy duties, Stephanie enjoys swimming, creating “culinary
delights” in the kitchen and reading murder mysteries.
Christopher Ridenhour
Christopher joined Gentle Touch Animal Hospital in the summer of
2008. He has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician
since 2008. He received his certification from the Bel-Rea
Institute of Animal Technology in 2008. Christopher has a strong
background in customer service as well as volunteering at animal
shelters in Colorado and Oregon. In his free time he enjoys
camping, listening to music and reading books.
Jill Edwards
Jill joined Gentle Touch as a Customer Service Representative in
the winter of 2008. She brings many years of customer service and
animal experience to the job. She has a strong veterinary office
background and also ran her own family business. Jill loves
animals of all kinds, but is especially attached to her Great Dane
MacKinsey and her Weimaraner Haley. Along with her passion for
people and their pets, Jill has a gift for photography. She also
loves spending time with her two daughters and two grandchildren.
