Dr. David Jimenez - Veterinarian

Dr. Jiménez grew up in Miami, Florida. He completed a Bachelor of Science at Florida International University and then traveled to Indiana to obtain his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

After a diagnostic imaging internship in Denver, he worked for two years in small animal primary care. He then returned to Florida to complete an additional diagnostic imaging internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists. The next three years were spent completing a diagnostic imaging residency at Kansas State University and becoming a board-certified radiologist. He then entered academia and became a tenured associate professor during his eight years at The University of Georgia. While there, he served as Section Chief, Residency Coordinator, Course Coordinator, and Graduate Faculty.

Dr. Jiménez left academia and provides radiograph, MR, and CT teleradiology services to primary and specialty animal hospitals.
