I was born in Houston, Texas, and spent many years living in Austin, Texas; but as many Texans do, I fled the heat and moved to Colorado in June 2024. I joined the GTAH team in July of 2025.
I have an extensive background working with animals, including working at a racehorse rescue, before getting into veterinary medicine. I started in vet med as a Veterinary Technician in 2016; and I have worked in small animal, equine, exotic, and mixed practice clinics. I worked in General Practice, Oncology, ICU/Internal Medicine, and Dermatology clinics. I moved into Hospital Management in 2020 while working at a specialty practice, and I have managed several GP clinics since. I am Fear Free Certified (since 2023).
Outside of work, I love hiking; camping; riding horses; reading; and spending time with my fiancé, friends, family, and pets. We have two dogs (Juniper, a Bernese Mountain Dog; and Ember, a rescued German Shepherd) and one horse (Contego, a Dutch Warmblood). My favorite time of year is fall and my favorite holiday is Halloween. Fun fact: I trained to Grand Prix in Dressage while managing a Dutch Warmblood breeding/training facility.
I am so excited to be a part of the GTAH family, and I look forward to getting to know the community we serve.
