For your pet’s comfort and safety, all dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia. All patients undergo laboratory testing prior to being anesthetized to ensure their ability to handle anesthesia. Great care is taken during the cleaning procedure. Your pet is placed on intravenous fluids and we meticulously monitor blood pressure, heart rate, heart rhythm, and blood oxygen levels. If extractions are necessary, we utilize pre- and post-extraction digital X-ray technology to ensure the extraction procedure was performed properly. Pre and post-operative pain management is utilized when necessary.

Our compassionate staff continues to monitor your pet throughout their recovery period, and we use an anesthetic protocol that allows for a very quick recovery. Before your pet is discharged, we will carefully explain any post-operative care instructions, and any necessary prescription medications can be filled at our onsite veterinary pharmacy.
